Alison Forsgren Broker, e-pro, NAR Green, SRES
Alison has been active in the real estate business since the early 1980s, shortly after she arrived for a two-week vacation on Nantucket and never left. She has served on the ethics and publications committees of the Nantucket Association of Realtor Estate Brokers and holds the e-Pro, NAR Green and SRES Realtor designations. Four decades in sales and rentals, working largely with repeat and referral clients, and she has built a business based on honesty and integrity – many clients have become lifelong friends.
After moving her parents to Nantucket in 2003, Alison took an active role in their care, leading to an interest in elder advocacy. She has been a member and former chair of Nantucket’s Council on Aging, on the Board of Directors of Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands, founder and chair of Friends of Our Island Home, Nantucket’s skilled nursing facility, as well as a founding member of the Nantucket Wheelers, a wheelchair biking program for seniors and others who are confined to a wheelchair.
Technology, texture and color, travel and the outdoors are lifelong interests. Beginning in January 2023, Alison will be traveling in Southeast Asia, while studying to receive a Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate. In her absence, a successful partnership with Broker Linda Bellevue, will serve her clients looking to change-up their Nantucket real estate portfolio.
